Healthy Breads for Beginners

In this course students will learn the fundamental techniques, ingredients and creative processes to bake bread that not only taste great but also nourishes the body.  

Students will not only walk away with a good understanding and hands on experience of how to make high fibre breads, but also feel inspired to try their own flavour combinations after attending this course.

What you will learn:

  • how to make different bread dough’s from scratch
  • understand important technical aspects of dough’s such as ingredients, mixing, hydration, proving dough, oven temperatures and baking 
  • how to make, shape and bake: 
    • Pumpkin seed & spice bread 
    • apple, currants and sultanas fruited wheat germ bread  
    • muesli bread, loaded with a variety of dried fruits, oats, linseeds, poppy seeds, sesame seeds and a little honey 

Everything created in this class is for students to take home; all materials are included in the cost of the course. A detailed recipe book is provided as part of this course.
