Under the guidance of industry experts, you’ll uncover the secrets of sugar artistry, learning the foundation skills that will make your creation truly extraordinary.

What you will learn

  • learn to weigh, cook and colour sugar
  • the art of casting, moulding and pulling techniques 
  • showpiece assembly 
  • master the art of creating single-coloured ribbons 
  • master the core principles of sugar, including its relationship with acid, glucose, and temperature management 
  • sugar welding.

This is a hands-on course in which all students work on their own product, all materials are included in the cost of the course.

Students get to take their showpiece home at the end of the course. A detailed recipe book is provided as part of the course.
