In this hands-on workshop you’ll dive headfirst into the world of sourdough, from creating your very own starter to getting your hands messy with mixing, kneading, cutting and shaping doughs.  

You will also learn how to tend to your starter culture at home, ensuring that you can whip up mouth-watering sourdough delights for your loved ones.

What you will learn

  • understanding of sourdough starters and the secrets to nurturing your own 
  • explore the art of mixing, hand-kneading and creating various dough shapes 
  • discover the tricks of the trade for perfect proofing and oven set up 
  • unlock how to achieve an irresistible golden crust.

Every student will roll up their sleeve and whip up three delightful doughs from scratch:

  • classic plain white dough
  • rustic rye dough
  • flavoured dough

Everything created in class is for students to take home, all materials are included in the cost of the course. 

A detailed recipe booklet is provided as part of the course.
